Exceptional hospitality from the moment of arrival. The front-of-house staff and the entire crew treat you like an honored guest. The team graciously stashes your bags if you arrive early, allowing you to seamlessly head out for a local hike. The room is spacious, featuring a twin and a double bed, immaculate cleanliness, and an upscale, newly remodeled bathroom. They take massive pride in their menu, showcasing heavily praised, locally sourced options—including an incredible, award-winning Irish cheese. As a professional safety expert and mobility specialist, I found the facility clean, secure, and structurally sound. The only environmental drawback was the specific room placement directly above the pub's front entrance, where gathering smoke regularly drafted upstairs into the room.
🦺 Trainer Troy's Safety Tip: When booking historic or pub-adjacent properties, request a room down the hall rather than directly over the main entrance. Preserving indoor air quality from external smoke zones is vital for maintaining proper respiratory health and restful sleep cycles while traveling.
